Dr Zhou Qian (Sophie)

Dr Sophie Zhou graduated from the Sichuan University, China, in 2009. She did her training at the National University Hospital, St Luke’s Community Hospital and Queenstown Polyclinic, National University Polyclinics. She became accredited as a family physician in 2023 and worked as a family physician at Queenstown Polyclinic, National University Polyclinics.

She treats a number of common conditions including hypertension; diabetes; asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; upper respiratory infections and sinusitis; acute illnesses like colds, flu, ear infections and strep throat; chronic conditions such as arthritis and back pain; and depression and anxiety.

Dr Zhou also offers preventive care such as vaccinations, screenings (like cholesterol and cancer screenings) and wellness exams; obesity and weight management; bone health; lifestyle medicine; thyroid disorders; minor injuries like sprains and cuts; gastrointestinal issues such as acid reflux or irritable bowel syndrome; and skin conditions like eczema, acne and rashes.

She also coordinates care with specialists when needed and manage overall health, including lifestyle counseling and chronic disease prevention.
