Experience

Dr Eugene Yeo is a general and colorectal surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.

He has a special interest in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer.

He was a former consultant surgeon in the department of colorectal surgery at Singapore General Hospital (SGH).

Dr Yeo obtained his medical degree as well as completed his surgical training in Singapore. After receiving the Health Manpower Development Plan Award, he spent a year at Yonsei Severance Hospital in Seoul, South Korea.

He is a founding and board member of the Robotic Surgical Society of Singapore, and a member of the Society of Colorectal Surgeons Singapore. He is regularly invited to moderate, speak and perform live surgeries at local and international conferences.

Besides his clinical work, he serves as a director of the endoscopic platform in the SingHealth surgical skills centre at SGH. He is also a regular faculty in the endoscopic and advanced laparoscopic courses held within the institution.

Dr Yeo has authored many book chapters, journal articles as well as multiple video articles over the years. He is a recipient of the Long Service Award and Service with a Heart Awards at SingHealth.
