Experience

Dr Lim Chong Hee is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990, and later became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK in 1994. He furthered his training in cardiothoracic surgery at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA from 1999 – 2001, where he trained among cardiothoracic experts.

He is a visiting consultant to the National Heart Centre Singapore, and is a member of the Chapter of Cardiothoracic Surgeons in the College of Surgeons, Singapore. There, he has served in various positions, such as honorary secretary from 2005 – 2009 and chairman from 2009 – 2013. He is also a member of the Singapore Thoracic Society.

Dr Lim is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Aside from clinical work, Dr Lim was a senior lecturer and an adjunct associate professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School. He continues to contribute to medical education by giving lectures & conducting workshops at local, regional and international meetings.
