Dr Sean Leo is an orthopaedic surgeon practising at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore.
Dr Leo completed his postgraduate training in the specialty field of orthopaedic surgery in 2009. He received subspecialty training in the field of regeneration, repair, restoration and resurfacing of joint injuries, during his 1-year clinical fellowship at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
Dr Leo was previously involved in the care of the Gordon Rugby Football Club during the New South Wales Rugby Union League games held in Sydney. As team physician, he provided clinical consultation and treatment for the team players.
Dr Leo served in the Singapore Armed Forces Medical Corps from 1999 – 2012, where he was involved in medical policy formulation, operational planning, and participation in overseas medical and humanitarian missions. He has also treated professional soldiers in high-demand vocations.
Dr Leo has also trained young medical doctors at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
