Dr Lee was formerly the Director of the Vascular Programme at the National Neuroscience Institute and the Head of the Neurosurgical Division at the National University Hospital before starting up his own private practice.

Dr Lee has published more than 100 medical journal articles for international publications, including a first author publication in Lancet. He has been invited to operate in Indonesia, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City and Christchurch, New Zealand. Dr Lee has also organized several workshops for training of younger neurosurgeons.

Dr Lee was a member of the International Advisory Panel for World Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr Lee has memberships to many societies and assocations, among them are the World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, International Association for the Study of Pain, the Pain Association in Singapore, the Clinical Neuroscience Society and the Singapore Neuroscience Association.

Dr Lee has a special interest in brain tumour, stroke and spine problems.
