Dr Lee Cheng Kiang is a neurosurgeon practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.

Dr Lee graduated from the National University of Singapore's Medicine Faculty in the year 2000. He obtained his membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Masters of Medicine in general surgery in 2005. He applied for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Neurosurgery training programme in 2004 and obtained his Fellowship in Neurosurgery in 2009.

During his training, he was seconded to the Metropolitan Health Service of Western Australia where he covered neurosurgical service in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital focusing primarily on neuro-oncology, spinal degenerative diseases, nerve compression syndromes, vascular and skull base neurosurgical conditions. In addition, he was responsible for head injury coverage at the Royal Perth Hospital and paediatric neurosurgical conditions at the Princess Margaret Hospital.

During his tenure in public service, Dr Lee Cheng Kiang lectured medical students from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine regularly, he was also regularly invited to give lectures on perioperative considerations for neurosurgery and neuro-oncology to the advanced diploma in nursing students at Nanyang Polytechnic. He also contributed to surgery education as a faculty member for the Singhealth surgery residency programme.

Dr Lee Cheng Kiang was actively involved in the management and surgery of neurosurgical patients during his tenure with the National Neuroscience Institute and Changi General Hospital. In addition, he was also responsible for ensuring that high clinical standards and quality of care were dispensed at the workplace as the chairman of morbidity and mortality audit committee for neurosurgery at Changi General Hospital, and was chief quality (clinical) officer in the neurosurgery department Singapore General Hospital and member of the trauma committee of the Singapore General Hospital. He was a member of the medical board in Changi General Hospital.
