Dr Chen Yujia

Dr Chen Yujia is a general physician at Parkway Shenton.

She completed her clinical rotations in general medicine, orthopaedic surgery, and obstetrics and gynaecology, and went on to deepen her experience in accident and emergency medicine, psychiatry, and sub-acute care during her time at St Luke’s Community Hospital.

In 2019, Dr Chen served as a medical officer at the Gurkha Contingent camp, where she provided care for Gurkha personnel and their families. This role gave her broad exposure to health issues across different age groups and workplace settings.

She is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Dr Chen embraces a holistic approach that emphasises preventive health and long-term well-being. She believes that building trust and showing empathy through open, honest communication are essential to effective patient care and a strong doctor-patient relationship.
