Dr Annette Ang is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
She has surgical experience in managing children with ear, nose, throat and airway problems. She managed various conditions including enlarged tonsils and adenoids, snoring, allergic rhinitis, tonsillitis, nose bleeds and neck lumps in children. Dr Ang also has a special interest in complex airway management.
She was a senior consultant paediatric otolaryngologist at a paediatric hospital.
Dr Ang graduated from the National University of Singapore. She completed her paediatric ENT fellowship training at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She was one of the earliest otolaryngologists to use propranolol in the treatment of subglottic haemangiomas successfully.
She was also a former associate programme director for the paediatric module of the SingHealth otolaryngology residency programme and a core faculty for the paediatric ENT module of residency programme at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Dr Ang is a member and executive committee member of the Singapore Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
She is a recipient of several SingHealth Quality Service Awards.
