Dr Adrian Siew Ming Saurajen is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
He has subspecialty training in sleep medicine and surgery, and has a special interest in chronic sinusitis (balloon sinuplasty), paediatric ENT (including the dentofacial airway development in children), and minimally invasive surgeries in reshaping the upper airway for patients with snoring and sleep apnoea.
Dr Saurajen was a former ENT surgeon at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and was responsible for the running of the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (National Healthcare Group) Sleep Clinic. He was instrumental in coordinating specialists from different disciplines to treat sleep patients.
He graduated from the University of Sydney and worked in Australia (Royal North Shore Hospital) and Singapore. He has postgraduate fellowships in ENT from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore and was also an International Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr Saurajen has a Master of Medicine (Sleep Medicine) from the University of Sydney and had previously undertaken a Fellowship in Sleep Medicine and Surgery under Prof Tucker Woodson at the Medical College Wisconsin, USA.
